good write up. But do you still love that jerk ? I feel you should not. People who dont care for our intense and love dont deserve to be thought of and loved.
Memories are worthless and useless. sooner you get rid of, better for you and to get over this vestigial feeling called LOVE.
Why do we all keep turning up here? And why do we judge Superunknown? It's their love, and it can be found again. If your own life has taught you that love is vestigial, then share your sorrows, not your hopelessness. As for you, 20-something, listen to yourself. Give yourself a chance, and him. If you've loved once, then love does exist. Till there's time, there's hope.
What you are sharing with us is the broken part of your life, and we are judging you and the lost one by it. You, I am sure, have a lot more to live with. There would be happiness tucked away in your memories. Go back to them, and find yourself again.

@Anonyumous2: Those around me know nothing of my fear and loss. So I guess I am living with those other things in life. But unhappiness becomes a pattern difficult to break.
well..its extremely difficult to hold on to such a difficult relationship. but its as tough to let go. but u know what..its when u let go...the other person realises ur value..if he does so genuinely, he will come back. if he doesnt, its not worth holding...
im no one to interfere, but give him his space and let him understand.if he doesnt, then you have a long life and you should not let someone else rule it.
